As we always like to keep ourselves actively social, Phillip and I went out for a wonderful catch up meal with the lovely Oliver Gilbody (episode, his partner and our wonderful friend Helen. After a few fabulous glasses of bubbles in their gorgeous flat in Marylebone, we decided to venture over to Fitzrovia for a taste of the rugged highlands at Mac & Wild a scottish inspired restaurant. We were not disappointed.
On approach it was a dimly lit sultry looking restaurant, simple in layout and very chilled out. The staff were very casual, relaxed and friendly. The ground floor is on the neat side, with small wooden tables and a bar. We were taken downstairs to a lovely dining area with exposed brickwork and simple lighting. A great socialising restaurant.
